From 2010 to 2012, as a personal project, I kept track of every trip I took on the subway, and created poster-size visualizations for each year. The underlying map, while drawn from scratch, was conceived as a hybrid of Vignelli Associates’ Weekender map for the MTA and Eddie Jabbour's Kick Map, and owes a large debt to both.
