With “The Elements of Sustainability,” we set out to define the key facets of that concept and show how the Rainforest Alliance’s work touched upon each of them. An introductory section used graduated-width pages to break down the components of sustainability, and within the main body of the report, the gutter gradually changed color from spread to spread, a reference to the transformative effects of the organization’s approach.
